DESCRIPTION:Learn a skill that could save a life. \nJoin Councilwoman Theresa Mari for an important and empowering Naloxone (Narcan) Training designed specifically for college and high school students.\nLed by Barry Zaks of the Huntington Drug & Alcohol Counseling Center, this free program will teach participants how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and properly administer Naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an overdose.\nAttendees will receive community service credit, a free Naloxone kit, and valuable skills that can make a difference in an emergency.
