Slam dunks, three point shots, dribbling, and lots of smiles were the order of the day at the Breezy Park parking lot/basketball courts on Friday, August 9, 2025. The Summer Carnival Three on Three Basketball Tournament was hosted by the Huntington Human Services Institute Inc. charity and featured skilled local hoopers from grades 5-12. Hot weather and the scorching black top did not deter these players a bit. With organizers and parents looking on, they enjoyed themselves all day. Basketballs, hoops, and other cool prizes were awarded to the winners and the day was topped off by a meet and greet autograph signing with former New York Knick great, John Starks.
Each basketball hoop was sponsored by a local business and branded with their logo. The Town of Huntington will deliver each hoop to the winners’ homes during the week.
